Experience

Mr. Collins began his real estate career in 1983 as a loan officer for Ned Eichler Associates in San Francisco placing first and second trust deed loans for multifamily and office product. He founded and operated his own construction and property management company that was engaged in acquiring and redevelopment of functionally obsolete warehouses into live-work for visual and musician artists. Mr. Collins has completed numerous development and redevelopment projects throughout the California, Oregon, New York and Maryland. He has experience in site identification for build-to-suits and property operations and disposition. Mr. Collins also has a background in construction for redevelopment projects in the San Francisco Bay Area, residential development projects in Oregon and having worked as the Executive Vice President for Tower Development Corp, one of the largest industrial developers in the Sacramento region. Mr. Collins has extensive asset management experience with his related partnerships. He has worked for several large regional commercial brokerage houses, most recently for Grubb & Ellis Company, as a commercial broker. Some of the clients he has represented include AMB Corporation, Al-Futtaim Group, GE Appliance, Toyota Motor, Alfa Laval, Arizona Tile, CSX, KB Homes, and Lincoln Properties.

Mr. Collins’ current receivership projects include multifamily, office, residential condominium associations and failed-in-place construction turnaround project receiverships for FedReceiver® in the California Central Valley, Reno and the San Francisco Bay Area and consulting to lender asset managers the benefits of Receivership services for partially developed and partially entitled land parcels.
