Distribution Agent
A court-appointed distribution agent may distribute funds in connection with a Qualified Settlement Fund (“QSF”) or in other matters and may have the power to ensure compliance with related legal and regulatory requirements related to reporting and withholding and tax issues, implementing a distribution plan, providing reports to the court, addressing creditors and objections and providing an accounting to the court and all interested parties.
